Geographic number

Geographic numbers are those numbers which implicitly have a location (and a charge group). In the UK National Telephone Numbering Plan, this is any UK number that begins 01 or 02. Note that 01 and 02 numbers supplied 'out of area' using (e.g.) VoIP are also classified as geographic, even though their physical location may not be where you expect. Note that a geographic number may not currently be NTS.
